Shannon Ashton

Shannon graduated ICT Northumberland College in 2008. She has a wide range of experience and modalities to bring to her treatments.  Shannon has worked on Cruise Ships, as well as in a clinical setting. She is trained in Myofascial release, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Hydrotherapy, Cryotherapy, Manual Lymphatic drainage, and more.

Shannon has treated conditions varying from pregnancy related sciatica, to TMJ dysfunction, frozen shoulder, and chronic constipation. She has also worked closely with university level athletes in Soccer, Volleyball, Track and Field, Basketball, professional level Sailing, and Football. Shannon has lived in multiple locations across Canada and the EU. She was a competitive dancer from a young age and became a lifeguard/swimming instructor as a teenager. Her experience with both made her interest in healing the human body grow. Shannon is an avid hiker, having hiked multiple mountains and glaciers.

She believes in customizing a care plan to the individual person taking into account not just the physical but also the mental and emotional components.
