Jon O’Neill is a graduate of Dalhousie University, completing both a Bachelor if Science in Kinesiology in 2012 and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2014. During his time at Dalhousie he was a member of the Water Polo Association.
Since graduating, he as completed training in shoulder-specific physiotherapy and has worked with both chronic and acute shoulder injuries, including post-operative recovery. He has also completed training in post-concussion therapy, vestibular disorders, and balance and dizziness. For both hockey and soccer, he has experience working with athletes performing sports coverage for on-field injuries.
Jon is a former staff member at the Nova Scotia Health Authority, and has served on the executive board of provincial orthopaedic division and sport physiotherapy division. He has also worked closely with Hockey Nova Scotia’s high-performance program and the Senior Premier soccer league in Nova Scotia.
Jon’s approach to physiotherapy involves manual techniques, resistance strength training, home exercise plans, and modalities for pain management. He looks forward to helping you with your recovery.
