Our staff has a great deal of interest in injury and dysfunction of the shoulder. The clinic is involved in clinical research related to certain types of shoulder injuries. Sports injuries, trauma and post-operative care are just some of the conditions of the shoulder routinely managed at the clinic. What Causes Shoulder Pain?

Shoulder pain is extremely common and can have a very simple or complex cause. Falls or traumatic injury can result in sprain/stains of the shoulder. More severe traumatic injuries can result in shoulder, dislocation, separation or fracture. The most common type of should pain we see is rotator cuff problems often related to how we move, resulting in breakdown of the tendons.
